I ave some bad news. A few of te keys on my keyboard ave failed me. It’s been a problem for a wile now. Basically, I noticed it first wit te  key. I saw a few sentences tat were missing te  so I started psing arder on it. Sometimes it wold work, sometimes it woldn’t. It got to te point were I wold searc for an  on google, copy it, and ten se te paste sortct to inset it wenever I needed it. It’s ard to searc for a letter wen yo can’t type it. I wold literally write, “letter between g and i” and google AI wold resce me.

Te next key tat died was above it to te rigt- te  key. Te y key comes and goes, bt rigt now it’s working (obviosly). I’ve also lost te nmbers  and , wic is kind of fnny, considering ow kids love saying tose two nmbers togeter (or maybe tat’s an old trend by now). Wen kids in my class wold say, I wold tank tem for spporting or local ockey team (te Ottawa ‘s).

I sed to ave my own laptop, bt it slowly died on me, so I started sing my work laptop for everyting. Now it’s clear tat I need a new work compter as well, given te keyboard problem. Rigt now I’m on parental leave, so I’m stck wit tis one for te next wile. I’m tinking I need to bite te bllet and go by myself a personal one again. I probably sold’ve done tat a wile ago bt wat can yo do?

Tis is my way of trning a negative into a positive. Yo ave no idea ow annoying it’s been dealing wit tis patetic keyboard, constantl psing as ard as I cold on te broken kes, and always seeing lines nder my writing indicating misspelled words. I KNOW OW TO SPELL, I ST AVE A DD KEYBOARD. As I was typing tat sentence, I’m realizing tat te  key is broken too. It’s as if te brokenness is contagios, going from one key to te next! At least I ave my precios y key working okay. Y, y, y ,y, y. st making sre. Anyway, ow was I able to trn tis into a positive? By writing a ridiclos article for yor viewing pleasre! Yo’re welcome!

I also remember seeing tis experiment were words were prposely missing letters, and people were still able to read it, wic I gess was trying to sow ow intelligent we mans are. So I’m opefl tat yo’ve been able to piece togeter wat I’ve been trying to write ere. If not, I will now rewrite tis, painflly fixing all te mistakes so yo can see ow it sold look if I ad a working keyboard:

Ere yo go:

I have some bad news. A few of the keys on my keyboard have failed me. It’s been a problem for a while now. Basically, I noticed it first with the h key. I saw a few sentences that were missing the h so I started pushing harder on it. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn’t. It got to the point where I would search for an h on google, copy it, and then use the paste shortcut to insert it whenever I needed it. It’s hard to search for a letter when you can’t type it. I would literally write, “letter between g and i” and Google AI would rescue me.

The next key that died was above it to the right- the u key. The y key comes and goes, but right now it’s working (obviously). I’ve also lost the numbers 6 and 7, which is kind of funny, considering how kids love saying those two numbers together (or maybe that’s an old trend by now). When kids in my class would say 67, I would thank them for supporting our local hockey team (the Ottawa 67’s).

I used to have my own laptop, but it slowly died on me, so I started using my work laptop for everything. Now it’s clear that I need a new work computer as well, given the keyboard problem. Right now I’m on parental leave, so I’m stuck with this one for the next while. I’m thinking I need to bite the bullet and go buy myself a personal one again. I probably should’ve done that a while ago but what can you do?

This is my way of turning a negative into a positive. You have no idea how annoying it’s been dealing with this pathetic keyboard, constantly pushing as hard as I could on the broken keys, and always seeing lines under my writing indicating misspelled words. I KNOW HOW TO SPELL, I JUST HAVE A DUD KEYBOARD. As I was typing that sentence, I’m realizing that the j key is broken, too. It’s as if the brokenness is contagious, going from one key to the next! At least I have my precious y key working okay. Y, y, y ,y, y. Just making sure. Anyway, how was I able to turn this into a positive? By writing a ridiculous article for your viewing pleasure! You’re welcome!

I also remember seeing this experiment where words were purposely missing letters, and people were still able to read it, which I guess was trying to show how intelligent we humans are. So I’m hopeful that you’ve been able to piece together what I’ve been trying to write here and can feel like a smarty pants. If not, I will now rewrite this, painfully fixing all the mistakes so you can see how it should look if I had a working keyboard:

Don’t worry. I won’t make this a never-ending loop. It stops here. It’s time for me to head to Best Buy! (I had to fix that sentence. And that one. And that one. You get the point).
