Hi there, folks. I figured I’d take you behind the scenes here at Pongo Hats. Today’s topic: making the logo. Let’s dive in.
Pongo Means Orangutan
If you missed the intro to Pongo, I explained that Pongo is a fancy name for an orangutan. So basically, this was my inspiration:
Well it’s pretty obvious why I chose the orangutan for my logo- THEY’RE PERFECT!
The colour choice was pretty easy- no need to turn an orangutan purple here. As for the image, here were some of the many options that my fantastic designer sent my way:

It’s hard to say why I made the choices that I did. I guess my inner orangutan led me to the right choice. The right choice of course, was two logos- one of the head, and one with the body. And here they are:
